“Upper Midwest Climate Considerations and Community Impacts”

As part of our first ever Climate Justice Revival, our Green Sanctuary Team has planned this morning’s service with a focus on climate justice and resilience. Specifically, Jason Gilman will be sharing his insights on the climate considerations in the upper Midwest, and the potential impacts on our urban and rural communities.

Jason Gilman is currently the Principal at JBG Planning, with degrees in Landscape Architecture and community planning from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His 36-year career has centered on the improvement of the city, focused on the stewardship and revitalization of the urban core. Both Jason’s career and personal life have included many volunteer hours on community improvement projects, teaching guitar at the local Boys and Girls Club, and assisting local neighborhoods and conservancy organizations. Jason is also a musician, artist, business owner, husband of 39 years, fathering of two sons, grandfather of 5 granddaughters, traveler, and outdoorsman.
