The La Crosse Welcome Circle is affiliated with HIAS, formed in 2022 in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Representatives Heidi Blanke, Maureen Freedland, Lisbeth Reynertson and Jan Gallagher will reflect on the ways that early activities in La Crosse clearly helped to build resilience in the Ukrainian newcomers. The UU was one of several faith communities to give support to our Ukrainian families in the early days. It is time for an update on how they are doing.
