“Transitions via Sierra Leone: Perspectives on Humanity”

Experiencing the Lunsar community challenged Matthew Christen’s beliefs and awareness of key aspects of humanity such as how do we measure success, ambition, privilege, church influences, hope, and happiness. While the community of Lunsar, Sierra Leone may share few resources, it holds so much in many intangibles, especially when it comes to helping bring each other home. Many which fit our values and commitments to community.

Matthew Christen is a retired educator, business owner, recipient of a lot of education, certified facilitator, fitness geek, seeker, manager of his humanity over 6 decades, and processor of how we learn, relate, and engage with our world in hopes of discovering “IT,” whatever “IT” may be. (As Matthew says, he is still searching)
