Like music, dance, theater, poetry, and literature, the visual arts can be a doorway into spiritual transformation. Art museums are holy shrines for pilgrims on this path, with paintings and sculpture there to be ‘read’ like any sacred scripture. This morning we’ll look at a few pictures and reflect on the ways that art can nourish our creative imagination.
