Service of Remembrance with Rev. Christine Isham

Religion,” wrote the Unitarian Universalist minister and theologian, Forrester Church, “is the human response to being alive and having to die. ” Please bring a memento, photo, or symbolic object representing a loved one who has died to the service today.  These will be used to create a memorial altar in our annual Remembrance service.  The Rev. Christine Isham, Gundersen hospice chaplain, will be our guest speaker again this year.

Rev Christine Isham, PhD. is currently working as a Hospice Chaplain with Gundersen Health Services Hospice. She and her wife moved into the Driftless area in 2018 and have enjoyed hiking, kayaking and wine tasting. She also teaches the meditative art of Zentangle with the Franciscan Spirituality Center and serves on the board of the Seven Rivers Hospice Home. Christine was ordained in the Christian Church (DOC) in 2005 and in the same year received her PhD. in Contemporary Ethics from Drew University.
