Catherine Young believes delight has a role to play in protecting what we hold dear. Through poetry, song, and story, she will lead us on a journey into the delight of June where we live.
Catherine Young is author of the ecopoetry collection Geosmin and the memoir of place Black Diamonds forthcoming from Torrey House Press. Her writing is published in literary anthologies and journals nationally and internationally. Catherine worked as a national park ranger, educator, farmer and mother, and her podcast Landward is available from WDRT in Viroqua. Rooted in farm life, Catherine lives with her family in Wisconsin where she is totally in love with meandering streams. She deeply believes in the use of story and art as tools for transforming the world.
