Reflections on Personal Growth from the Journey of Antiracism Work

A panel of four will reflect on what they learned about themselves and about the process of antiracism work. What started as a UU La Crosse Fellowhsip project called BCOR: Beloved Conversations Opposing Racism has evolved into a regional community wide project called Waking Up White Collaborative.

All four speakers are longtime Members/Friends of the Fellowship. Mary Nelson is a retired physician and is one of the key leaders of the Waking Up White Collaborative. Ron Malzer is a retired psychologist and active in a number of social justice causes in our community. Wendy Mattison continues her work in our public schools with the Hmong educational collaborative curriculum development. Amanda Strosahl works as a physician and has been involved in the Waking Up White Collaborative since its inception.
