Steve Minnema will reflect on some lessons he has learned from a variety of TED talks about the challenges peacemakers face as they seek to create space in which everyone can feel like they belong.
Steve Minnema is a retired ordained Presbyterian minister and has served churches throughout the Midwest for 35 years. Two of his main emphases in ministry were community organizing and international involvement. He led mission trips to Haiti and Guatemala and continues to this day to visit Presbyterian churches in rural Columbia seekingjustice and peace for the displaced. Steve’s favorite hobbies include travel, reading, weaving, gardening and golf. He has four kids and eight grandkids.
