When we engage in the work of social justice, we can easily become overwhelmed and burned out at the sheer magnitude of need in this hurting world. How do we maintain a sense of balance so we can stay committed to this important spiritual practice? How do we make sure our bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits are nourished, so our cups are filled, and we might be a source of refreshment to others along the way?
After the service, we will host a one-time coffee hour. You are invited to bring a treat to share and stay for a cup of coffee in the kitchen and front of the sanctuary. For folks who want to keep masks on and decline the food, we will keep the front entryway, conference room, and nursery ventilated and available for masked gathering. And folks at home are encouraged to have a treat and drink available at the end of the service to enjoy during the Zoom coffee hour. Please email Heather (admin@uulacrosse.org) if you’d be willing to help with setup or cleanup that day!
