What is it about sports that commands such passionate attention and devotion on the part of so many people in our society? Today, on “Super Bowl Sunday,” I’ll explore this question through my own experience, both as a former athlete and as a continuing sports fan. Don’t worry if you don’t know the difference between a quarterback and a shortstop; there will be lessons here for all of us.
