Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar, is a time of atonement and making amends. We will recognize Yom Kippur by engaging what atonment means in the context of the struggle for gender equality. This service is our contribution to UU-UN Sunday, where Unitarian Universalists, long strong supporters of the United Nations, cast our view globally so that we may understand ourselves locally.
