Drawing as Meditation: Zentangle and Similar Doodle Art to Relax and Calm Your Mind

“Art enables us to find ourselves and loose ourselves at the same time” Thomas Merton
No artistic talent is needed! “We don’t make mistakes, we just have happy accidents” Bob Ross
This will be a “hands on” All Ages service to explore drawing as a meditative practice. All materials will be provided (those on Zoom, you just need some blank paper and a pen or pencil). After a brief introduction by Jill Rippe for guidance on what to focus on, we will be drawing while Lynn provides a lovely piano music background. There will be few words in this service, we aim to give that talkative left side of our brain a break!

Jill Rippe is a Fellowship Member, currently serving on the Green Sanctuary Team. She has organized and led our Procession of the Species since 2023!
