A Christmas Eve service and gathering will take place outdoors from 4-6pm in the UU parking lot, so bundle up and come for some warm holiday cheer! Thank you to all the people who responded so generously to the requests for ideas. For those who want to tune in from home, we have volunteers who will Zoom from their phones so you can see what’s happening and say hello!
Caroling: For those who would like to carol around the neighborhood, we will depart from the parking lot at 4:00 and carol for about 40 minutes.
Service and Reception Activities: At 4:45, we will regather in the parking lot around a couple of fire pits and have a very brief service with readings, electric candles, and more carols (including Silent Night). If you have a favorite poem or short reading you’d like to share, please bring it with you. Starting around 5:00, we will have our reception with warm drinks and holiday treats, and a fun Candy Cane hunt planned for all ages to enjoy! We will also have percussion instruments available for all ages, so you don’t have to sing to participate! Everything will wrap up around 6pm. We hope to see you and your family there!
