From a very young age we are encouraged to look outside of ourselves. We are encouraged to fit in with our surroundings and often chastised for stepping out of line. In doing so, our uniqueness and dignity as a human being can be diminished. And in our compliance, we too often relinquish some of our greatest inherent gifts: clarity, courage, hope, peace and more. The journey of a life is reclaiming those gifts. The “repair” is in the self discovery of our preciousness and the preciousness of each moment of life that we are given.
