“All in For Climate Justice: People, Power, Planet”

Every year the Unitarian Universalist Office at the United Nations sponsors a theme that local UU congregations are invited to explore on UN Sunday. As UN Sunday this year fell on October 25, your fellowship decided to postpone celebration of UN Sunday to February 28, 2021. The theme for this year is “All in For Climate Justice: People, Power, Planet.” The term “climate justice” asks that we consider the climate crisis from the perspective of politics, social justice, and human rights, rather than simply a scientific, physical phenomenon. In his presentation longtime fellowship member Eric Kraemer will encourage fellowship members to think about what climate justice means both internationally and locally, what it requires of each of us, and how we all might contribute to increasing climate justice.

Eric Kraemer, long-time fellowship member, choir member [tenor], Philosophy Professor at UW-L, UU apologist, and life-long supporter of the United Nations.
