Reflections on vulnerability, compassion, and connection from the frontlines of hospital chaplaincy. Rev. Greg is a Unitarian Universalist minister who serves as a staff chaplain at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He grew up in Minnesota, where he completed his first round of graduate studies at the U of M before embarking on a 25-year journey to the East Coast. After completing his seminary education at Andover Newton in 2019, he returned home to the Upper Midwest and arrived in La Crosse when he began a two-year chaplaincy residency at Gundersen in 2020. He became a staff chaplain there in 2022. He loves La Crosse and is grateful for his Community Ministry affiliation with the Fellowship.
