This month’s theme is vocation. Cultural expectations and personal circumstances influence vocation.  Sometimes vocation must change due to outside circumstances. In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. This animated film is directed by Nora Twomey and will delight adults and older children equally.
