Our annual spring clean-up will be Saturday May 28 from 9 – noon. Hopefully we have our new parking lot by then and we can also celebrate with a little parking lot picnic at noon! We need volunteers to assist with mostly outdoor building and landscaping tasks. Please set aside time in your calendar to come join us 🙂 If you have tools you can bring (rakes, brooms, loppers, pruners, kneeling cushions, etc) please let us know. If the weather is cooperative, during the spring clean-up May 28, we will also construct the short wall surrounding our UU sign out front. This will be digging a shallow footing, filling with gravel and then laying 3 layers of wallstone. Anyone willing and able to lend a hand, please let us know! At a later date, capstones will be made to finish the wall and the no-mow grass seed will be planted where the current lawn area is then covered with mulch (until then it is covered in black plastic to compost the current lawn).
