October’s theme is Deep Listening. Parker Palmer reminds us that “Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.”

Our selected movie in this theme of deep listening is Dead Poets Society. A movie that challenges one to listen and find one’s own voice. Robin Williams plays Professor Keating at a prestigious New England boarding school, where he challenges his students to read poetry and seize the day: “You must strive to find your own voice, boys, and the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all.”  Come join us Saturday October 12 at 4 pm. Great popcorn, your choice of seats and share in deep listening.
