What is Unitarian Universalist Religious Education ?

A community of shared UU values
A place for children to ask questions and develop their own beliefs
Exploration of Unitarian Universalist identity as well as other world religions, social justice and action
    Acceptance of diversity
Respect for self, others and our interdependent web
    Intergenerational services and spiritual opportunities

What can I expect for my child(ren) on Sunday Morning?

All children, except the infants & preschoolers, attend our Sunday morning program for opening songs and sharing of Joys & Concerns and then go to their classes. Families have opportunities to participate in the service through chalice lighting, joys & concerns, and with the children's music program. Occasional intergenerational services allow children to develop a program with the rest of the fellowship.

Who is responsible for the Religious Education Programs?

The Religious Education (RE) Committee and Director of Religious Education share responsibility for developing the RE programs by selecting teachers and curriculum and providing necessary materials and support.
